Class IX is an essential year of schooling as it sets the foundation for higher-level studies in class X and beyond. It’s also the year when students start preparing for board exams or their country’s equivalent national exams. Therefore, students are expected to be more focused on their studies, take responsibility for their learning, and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Apart from academics, class IX students may also be encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities, community service, and other personal development initiatives
